Envy Comfort is a pressure-relief and positioning device for compatible manual wheelchairs. The wheelchair is reversed into the unit and can then be tilted in a controlled movement, allowing the user to rest and vary their sitting position without leaving their own wheelchair.

Controlled Movement – Adapted to the User.
The mechanism is designed around the manual wheelchair – not as a replacement for it. The wheelchair is secured in the unit, while the internal assistance system supports the tilting movement. Previous product documentation describes adjustable gas-assisted resistance, allowing the movement to be adapted to the user and remain controlled throughout the range of motion.

Envy Comfort is designed for use with standard active wheelchairs in standard configurations. The wheelchair is moved directly into the unit and securely fastened, allowing the user to change sitting position and achieve pressure relief – without having to leave their own wheelchair.
Measured. Documented. Presented with Context.
A pressure measurement carried out at the Spinal Cord Injury Centre in Viborg on one user showed a reduction in average pressure across the seating surface at 45° and 90° tilt compared with the starting position. As this is an initial observation based on one user, the result should be regarded as supporting documentation – not as a general clinical claim.
