Comfort

with Consideration.

Envy Comfort is designed for people who want optimal seating comfort without compromising the look of their home. An assistive device that feels like a natural piece of furniture and provides the freedom to be part of life’s small and big moments.

THE ENVY COMFORT EXPERIENCE

Rest and Relaxation – Without Leaving the Wheelchair.

Envy Comfort is designed to support comfort, rest and variation in sitting position for people who use a compatible manual wheelchair. The user can change position while remaining seated in their own wheelchair – making it easier for short breaks to become a natural part of everyday life.

EVERYDAY COMFORT

A Break That Fits into Everyday Life.

For many manual wheelchair users, rest traditionally means transferring to a bed or sofa. Envy Comfort offers another option: Remain seated in your own wheelchair, reverse into the unit and move into a supported, tilted position. The goal is simple – to make rest and variation in sitting position easier to incorporate into everyday life.

WHAT ENVY COMFORT CAN SUPPORT

Developed Around Everyday Needs.

Rest in Your Own Wheelchair

Change position and find comfort without first having to transfer to another chair, sofa or bed.

Variation in Sitting Position

Controlled tilt makes it possible to vary the sitting position throughout the day and support a more comfortable resting position.

Fewer Strenuous Transfers

Fewer unnecessary transfers can make short periods of rest easier to integrate at home, at work and in care situations.

A Calmer Rhythm

Move from an active sitting position to rest – and back again – without changing wheelchairs.

PRESSURE & POSITION

Lower Pressure in the Measured Tilt Positions.

An initial pressure measurement on one user showed lower average pressure across the seating surface when the wheelchair was tilted. The measurement is observational and cannot be generalised, as the effect depends, among other things, on the individual user, the wheelchair, the seat cushion, the sitting position and the specific setup.

STARTING POSITION

≈ 40 mmHg

Average pressure measured across the seating surface.

45° TILT

≈ 25 mmHg

Lower average pressure in the measured position.

90° TILT

≈ 11 mmHg

Further reduction in the measured position.

The Goal Is Not to Sit Better.
It Is to Live Better.

QUALITY OF LIFE

More Room for Life Beyond the Wheelchair.

The value of Envy Comfort lies not only in the mechanics. It lies in the opportunity to change position, take a break and then return to the day’s activities with fewer interruptions. At home, in the workplace or in professional care environments, the product is designed to support comfort, rest and variation in sitting position in a way that can become a natural part of the day.
